Interdisciplinary research group investigating the neural mechanisms of cognition. We are interested in how humans and other animals use predictions to guide perception and cognition. To answer specific research questions, we use a variety of empirical (neuroimaging, electrophysiology, psychophysics) and computational techniques. Our lab is currently based between Maastricht University and the Free University Berlin.
